After studying a year in Fine arts and doing a Foundation course in France, I decided to pack up and move to Britain to pursue my passion for surface patterns. I studied three years in Cardiff on a textile course. Three wonderful years where I developed my skills in various domaines.

My main source of inspiration is absorbing the colours and the patterns found in various countries from the frosty lakes in Sweeden to the ochres found in the Atlas Mountains. I never go travelling without a sketchbook and my coloured pencils. I absorb as much as I can to then bring the information collated to my designs. Anything observed from composition, pattern to colours whether it’s on tiles, doors, packaging, monuments, is then used to nourish my sketchbook work. As a consequence my work is a mixture of handmade elements mixed with digital. I enjoy balancing out a mixture of traditional drawing techniques with a modern technology. Constantly trying to find the right balance between the two. Colours are the key elements of my work, they are my priority. It’s a never ending research upon finding deep, rich, bold, bright colours. A particular source of inspiration of mine is Traditional Folk art from various countries from Poland to India. I’m especially attracted to their colour palettes.
